Start with a small sample

Try a few records first. Check column names, missing values, dates, and character encoding before migrating a larger dataset.

CSV has fewer types

CSV cells are text. This converter leaves them as strings instead of guessing whether identifiers, leading zeros, or dates are numbers.

Spreadsheet imports

Exported cells beginning with formula characters are prefixed with an apostrophe to reduce formula injection risk. Review the data in the destination application.
